Autumn (Oct - Nov) & Spring (Mar - May) are the main tourist seasons in Nepal & Bhutan. Both countries share similar geography, climate & terrains.

Tourist Season in Tibet

Autumn & Spring are also the main tourist season in Tibet. However, Being across the Himalayas, you could travel in Tibet in monsoon (Jul - mid Sep) as well. The Kailash manasarovar Yatra happens during monsoon season mostly.

Monsoon tours in Nepal

Regular sightseeing tours & visits to hill stations to view the valleys & Himalayas are perfectly fine to do during monsoon. Long treks are not suggested for the monsoon.

Monsoon treks in Nepal

Upper Mustang across the Himalayas is the best trekking for monsoon in Nepal. It does not rain much during monsoon here.
