Nagarkot, Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara are the most visited destinations by family travelers in Nepal. A total of 8 days are good enough days for a perfect and relaxing trip to Nagarkot, Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara. Given the road expansion going on in the Pokhara section, here we have suggested flying from Chitwan to Pokhara & Pokhara to Kathmandu. These short 25-minute flights shorten the road journey by 6-7 hrs each sector. This tour is suitable for travel with children and senior members of the family.
This trip includes activities of sightseeing of regular nature - a guided walk, guided short hikes & private transfers as scheduled. Among the main destinations, Nagarkot & Sarangkot are Himalayan viewpoints with great views of Sunrise. Kathmandu Valley houses 7 UNESCO sites and five of them are on your list. Pokhara Valley, although lower in altitude than Kathmandu Valley, is closer to the Himalayas. It offers great natural scenery and opportunities to do some short hikes. In the same way, Chitwan National Park is the house for rare animals & species like Royal Bengal Tigers, One-horned Rhinos, crocodiles including rare gharials & many other animals in the jungle. Sightseeing spots in Kathmandu and Pokhara Valley are within 5 - 15 kilometers which take normally 15 to 45min from point to point. It is truly an exploratory, lovely, relaxing, inclusive & insightful trip.
